About Emma
I am an award-winning independent podcast producer, investigative journalist, and scriptwriter. I currently work as an on-call associate producer at LAist, and am pursuing an MA in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California.
I graduated from UCLA with a major in English and minors in Global Studies and Professional Writing.
In my free time, I am a photographer, embroidery artist, and roller skater. I live in northeast LA with a cranky asthmatic cat named Garlic, and am known to eat pickles straight from the jar.
I run Los Audio, a biweekly newsletter that rounds up in-person radio, podcasting, and other audio events in the Los Angeles area.
