About Emma

I am an award-winning independent podcast producer, investigative journalist, and scriptwriter. I have experience in the nonprofit, local journalism, and branded content spaces, and my work focuses mainly on nonfiction and documentary content.

 

I produced, wrote, and hosted the limited-series investigative podcast Gooned, and am also the creator of the Texas Twiggy podcast.

 

I am currently pursuing an MA in Specialized Journalism from USC, and graduated from UCLA with a BA in English in 2022. I write and manage Los Audio, a newsletter for fellow LA podcasters, radio folks, and audio makers.​ 

 

In my free time, I am a photographer, embroidery artist, and roller skater. I live in northeast LA with a cranky asthmatic cat named Garlic, and am known to eat pickles straight from the jar.
